Work Trade Program

This is a work trade program where participants are expected to work 30 hours per week during non-workshop time and fully participate in workshops as required. This will be for a 3 month time period.

Accommodations will be provided with electricity, bathrooms, hot showers. There is a community kitchen available for your use and you are responsible for providing your own food, except during workshops when vegetarian/vegan meals are provided.

You must have skills we can use at Cob Hill, these can be any of the following carpentry, plumbing, electrical, woodworking, permaculture, gardening, cooking, equine care, natural building, general construction, general yard work, knowledge of power tools, pottery, arts and crafts.

This registration is an interest in the program and does not guarantee acceptance. There will be an interview process. Attendance at a 10 day Basic or 21 day Certification Workshop at Cob Hill Natural Building School is MANDATORY to be considered for this program.

Dates are open ended for start and finish.

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU

* A willingness to take initiative to complete tasks that need to be done, without having to be micromanaged, but if in doubt always ask.

* Ability to follow directions and complete tasks assigned to you

* Teamwork, ability to work with others as a team player

* Unless coming from overseas you must have your own transport

* A 2 week written notice if you plan to leave earlier than agreed leave date.

Internship Program
